Copying data from badly scratched CDs and DVDs

Submitted by Kappithaan on June 5, 2009 – 6:02 amNo Comment

Is Explorer interrupting the copy process with “File cannot be copied” message? Mate u probably got ur disc scratched up all at the wrong places. Lucky you, ‘Roadkil’s Unstoppable Copier’ is for you. This freeware copies and restores data from unreadable blanks. You can download it from http://www.roadkil.net/program.php?ProgramID=29

To restore data, select the source and the target drive in the ‘Copy’ tab using the ‘Browse’ buttons. Now in the ‘Settings’ tab move the handle to the required position. Moving it to the middle is a good compromise between best and the fastest data recovery…mmm…one last thing, checking the ‘Skip damaged files automatically’ option will save time, quite few hrs.
If the disc has a scratch on the upper surface itz game over.Still you can give it a try.
